From the Head or From the Heart?

So, where is your passion for life coming from? Are you living from the fears of your own mind or frompassionheart the desires of your heart. The biggest cause of fear is the uncertainty of what could happen, what could go wrong or what will others think? This overwhelming uncertainty can cause us to fear opportunities instead of face them so we often miss out on great experiences because the change becomes uncomfortable, not knowing what to expect. Wanting to move forward, we often let the fear of the unknown rob us of a chance at better happiness and greater security in life.

Most of life’s situations are judged by either inspiration or desperation. Sometimes we are inspired to move forward and change and sometimes we feel pushed by desperation to make a move or change certain situations in life. The desperate moves often come from our over analytical minds and usually pushed on us from outside forces like peer pressure or even family situations. We make choices based on what others think is good for us instead of what we think is good. Where inspirational change usually comes from within or from the heart where we have an internal desire to make a change or try something new.

fear-of-the-unknown1The “head” tries to analyze everything and sometimes creates worst-case scenarios that can hold us captive to our current situation, always wondering what could go wrong instead of what can go right. Our minds start to tell us why we can’t accomplish a goal instead of inspiring us why we can. But when we make the change from the heart then the inspiration and feelings of confidence can override our fears and move us forward to a new journey in life. If we are pushed into change by our fears then the change stands little chance of success but when we are inspired to change from within, from the heart, then we are able to face the fear and move forward.

When the inspiration comes from the heart we begin to focus on what can go Right instead of what could go wrong. We start to see problems as opportunity or pathways and stop focusing on the fear. We begin to look inside for answers, instead of blaming others for our current situations, and start to let go of things or even people that no longer serve our journey in life. We start to figure out that it is more about the journey than the destination.

So, what motivates You? Are you inspired by your heart and excited about opportunity or, are you desperate from your thinking, scared to step out and be different from the herd. The Heart says “Yes You Can!” where the head says “that’s too scary, don’t think so, I’ll just stay here.” It’s time to get Inspired by Your Heart and look deep within for the dreams you hold so dear. It’s Time to find your passion and learn to pursue your Dreams so your life’s journey is an Awesome story and not just a sad tale of fear. By looking deep inside you will be Amazed at what you are capable of and discover the dreams that inspire you to Move Forward along this journey of life. Get Inspired! Don’t let fear or the uncertain mind hold you back.  From the Head or From the Heart, it’s your choice.embracejourney

In the world of Network Marketing this becomes very relative to our own success and especially to those we partner with in our business. If you are having to “sell” or “convince” people that Network Marketing is a better way then you will see a lot of failure in your business because they were not ready for Success. Unless they have the burning desire to make a change and learn something new then they will have a hard time moving forward because they came from the desperate mind and not the inspired heart. We look for those that are inspired to move forward and really want to change their current situation. We look for those that are looking for us! They have to make up their own mind that “Now IS the Time” for them to move forward with their journey and are willing to make the changes that can lead them to Success. I call it, “Is Your Biscuit Cooked?”, you can click on that link and read the blog I wrote about that as well. If it’s Your Time, Your Biscuit is Cooked, we can help. We look for like minded, inspired people that are ready to make the change and pursue their dreams, No Excuses!no-excuses

Twenty Years From Now

Mark Twain once wrote; “Twenty Years from now you will be more disappointed by the things You didn’t do than by the ones you did do.” mark-twain

Twenty years seem like such a long time, until it passes and you realize all those things you were going to accomplish have somehow gone unfinished. Life has a way of distracting our dreams and desires of our youth and sometimes, too often, keeps us in a situation that we really did not want. We get comfortable with our day to day life and just live in the now instead of our dreams,  letting life keep us in the box. Twenty Years from now, where will you be?

This “comfort zone” that we all hear so much about is the daily struggle to pay bills, take care of our family and just get by in life and we have All been there. Sometimes it’s easier to just go with what you know instead of breaking out and taking another path, a path less traveled but a journey to a better life. Only by taking risk and learning different skill sets do we change the direction we are headed and move forward toward a more fulfilling life. Another Great quote is; “Never give up on a dream because of the time it will take to accomplish it, the time will pass anyway.” ~Earl Nightingale.

So, Twenty Years from now, what are you going to be doing and where will you be in your journey called life? This time is going to go by way quicker than you think and twenty years from now you will look back and say, Wow that was great or darn I should have done something different. It’s Your story and you are writing it day by day, you are the author, creator and You control this story of you. What do you want your story to be about? Will it be about drama and all the negative situations that made up the last twenty years or will this story be about adventure and fun times with positive people all around with memories that will last a lifetime?

You-cant-always-controlYou can’t change the direction of the wind but you Can change the set of the sail. Are you steering the ship or just drifting in the wind? You have the very unique ability to learn new skills and change your thinking to adjust the direction of life if you just re-set the sail. There is So Much More you can accomplish if you just decide what you want, determine what it will take to get there and just make a plan to GO, no excuses accepted. If it’s new skills you need then find the training and learn the gig, do the work and reap the reward. Maybe it’s the “friends” you have or the ones you hang around with that keep you where you are. Or maybe it’s all in your head? Yeah I know, sometimes that’s the only place it needs to be to affect your daily habits. What ever it is that is holding you back is of your own making and only You can make the change.

Twenty Years from now don’t be disappointed by what you didn’t do just because you let it slip by. Fear is just False Emotions Appearing Real and it steals more peoples dreams than anything in life. You can lean a new skill and put a plan into action that will make a difference Twenty Years from now. You are more powerful than you think and you are more capable than you know but only You can keep your dreams alive. Only You have the power to move your life in a direction that You want it to go. Only You have control over the next Twenty Years.

There are SO many things I wished I had done in the last Twenty Years and so many things I want to do in the next Twenty Years. Twenty Years from now I will  be 73 and that is Amazing to say the least. The next Twenty Years are more important than the last because I have control over them where the last twenty are only a memory now. Oh, what I should have done and didn’t are just part of what I did do that makes us who we are and describes the value we bring to our life’s existence. Twenty Years From NOW, how Exciting is that?twenty years

Are Vacations Good for Your Health?

Could a Vacation actually be good for your health? family-vacation

Research now proves that vacations are truly good for your physical health as well as your mental wellbeing. Today we want to bring you 7 ways to benefit from taking a vacation. The sad statistic is that only 4 out of 10 Americans will actually take their vacation time according to the U.S. Travel Association. Most skip out on taking their vacation due to the dreaded work pile they will encounter upon returning to their j.o.b. This is usually brought about by the “martyr” complex that leads people to believe that they are the only ones that can do their job, and sometimes, rightfully so.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics show that 9 million workers took a vacation in 1976 but only 7 million workers took a vacation in 2014. This survey found that most workers leave as much as 9.2 days of vacation unused and not taken advantage of here in America. Although some companies are encouraging a better balance between work, life and happiness many workers find it too stressful to take off like they should. Most U.S, workers have access to vacation time and it should be used for better health and wellbeing. Vacations are really good for you!

Here are 7 Ways to Benefit from Vacation:

  1. Better Health: It has been proven that taking time off from the day to day grind reduces stress which leads to less risk of heart disease of heart attacks. Vacations can get you out of the rat race and give you time to unwind mentally and physically, leading to less stress and better health.
  2. More Productive: Workers that take their vacation regularly are usually more productive upon returning to their work. Sometimes just getting away from work can give you the time you need to reset your mental clarity and return to work with more emphasis on your job and with a better work ethic.
  3.  Closer Family Relationship: One of the biggest benefits of taking a real Vacation is the effects on family relationships. This time spent enjoying family memories and adventures together become some of the most cherished family memories shared for many years to come. Family vacations help create better family bonds for the long term and bring families closer together in many ways.
  4. Newer Perspective: Sometimes we just need to step away from our daily grind to get a better perspective of what we are doing and why. These moments of clarity remind us why we do what we do day in and day out. It helps to bring focus and gives us a better perspective of where we are in life and what is really important to us. Sometimes the view from the outside looking in is somewhat different then what we see on the inside looking out and this different environment gives us a better internal view of life.
  5.  Increased Mental Power: All work and no play might make you feel powerful at your work place but it can really drain the brains ability to be its best. We can use vacation time to replenish this brain power and get better clarity of who we are and what it is that we work so hard for. This gives the mind time to rest and look at things in a different light to analyze our current situation. Sometimes this reset of our brain power leads to some of our best ideas.
  6. Lower Chance of Burn Out: This is a common problem in many work environments where people are working the grind 50 or even 60 hours a week, trying to keep everything going in one direction. Taking the time to go on vacation can break the cycle of Burn Out and increase your chance of not suffering burn out at work. Burn out is one of the biggest killers of work productivity and just causes more stress in the work place. Vacations break the cycle and allow you to step away long enough to reset yourself for a happier life.
  7.  Improved Mental Health: Vacation time gives us feelings of calm and relieves stress allowing the mind and body time to heal in ways it can’t when it’s under stress. Too often the stress from work not only brings us down mentally but can also affect our physical health that only brings on more mental stress. Vacations are a way to let your mind and body unwind and get away from the crazy life we live in the 9 to 5 grind. Vacation_Time
Vacations can be Great for our health, wellbeing and overall Happiness. So, put the phone down, gather up the family and step away from the grind. Take this time to grow closer to the ones you love and spend time together. Again, PUT the Phone DOWN! If you are going to step away then Step Away from your work and normal grind. Don’t take the time to spend with your head down in your dumb phone. Get to know your kids, reconnect with your wife or significant other and truly spend the time together, not staring at the phone! Enjoy life and Love a Lot, play with your kids and let them know how much you really care. This time can heal many frustrating days when you just want to go crazy in the daily grind.

We want to help people Get Paid to live a Simple Life by enjoying more time with family and friends. Our goal is to help you create a lifestyle that brings about more freedom and security for you and your family and lifts you up to a better life. Vacations can be expensive but well worth it. finger-vacation
